Alana Martens is a skilled Workplace Investigator with more than 20 years’ experience working in senior legal roles for private law firms and state government agencies.
Alana is adept at managing complex and
high-stakes workplace investigations into complaints of bullying and harassment, racism, sexual harassment and other forms of professional misconduct.
Alana’s extensive legal and public sector experience has equipped her with the skills and wisdom to effectively and sensitively manage and respond to reluctant participants, in both workplace investigations and workplace reviews, as well as those who demonstrate challenging behaviours.
Clients appreciate Alana’s clear and consistent communication style and her well-reasoned and clearly structured reports.
Immediately prior to joining Q Workplace Solutions, Alana spent three years as a Principal Legal Officer with the Office of the Health Ombudsman.
In this role she reviewed investigation files and provided advice to the Director of Proceedings on the commencement of disciplinary proceedings in the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
