Caroline O’Connor brings more than 15 years’ employment law expertise in private practice and Australia’s Fair Work Commission to the sensitive and complex workplace investigations and reviews she leads for Q Workplace Solutions.
Caroline has broad-ranging experience investigating allegations of misconduct including sexual harassment, bullying, and improper conduct in the workplace in the mining, gas, health and education sectors.
Caroline is skilled at managing the legal, commercial, and reputational risks that accompany investigations into sensitive workplace matters.
As a solicitor, Caroline regularly advised and represented witnesses to traumatic workplace accidents and employees impacted by sexual harassment.
Caroline appreciates the importance of embedding trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices into her workplace investigations.
She has worked closely with Q Workplace Solutions’ Indigenous Engagement Advisor to create culturally safe environments for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants to share their evidence in workplace culture reviews and investigations.
