Christina Coleman
Indigenous Engagement Adviser
Christina Coleman is a proud Wiradjuri Murrawarri woman from Western New South Wales who now resides on Gubbi Gubbi Country in southeast Queensland.
Christina has more than 15 years’ government and corporate experience building cultural awareness and capability in Australian workforces and improving cultural supports and services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, communities and families.
Since 2022, Christina has been working with our national team to educate and upskill our investigators, particularly on issues such as gender, shame, kinship, intergenerational trauma and power imbalances, and how to sensitively manage these issues during a workplace investigation or review.
She also provides support to our investigators during interviews with Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander participants involved in workplace investigations or reviews (with participant/employer consent).
Christina’s warm and approachable nature, combined with her special ability to make people feel at ease in intimidating and stressful situations, are exceptional and highly valued skills in the field of workplace investigations.
